Managing Your Conversations
How to find, rename, and delete your chats in Dekipi Nova
Managing Your Conversations
Every conversation you have with Nova is saved automatically, so you can close the tab and pick up right where you left off.
Starting a new conversation
Click New chat at the top of the sidebar at any time. Your current conversation stays saved in the sidebar — starting a new one never deletes an older one.
Finding a past conversation
All of your conversations are listed in the sidebar, with the most recent one at the top. Click any conversation to reopen it, including the full message history.
Nova gives each new conversation a short, descriptive title automatically, based on your first message, so it's easy to spot in the list later.
Renaming a conversation
Open the options menu
Hover over a conversation in the sidebar and click the ⋯ button that appears.
Choose Rename
Type a new name and confirm
Enter the new title and press Enter or click Confirm.
Deleting a conversation
Open the options menu
Hover over a conversation in the sidebar and click the ⋯ button.
Choose Delete
Select Delete, then confirm in the dialog that appears.
Deleting a conversation removes it from your history immediately. This cannot be undone.
Collapsing the sidebar
If you'd like more space for the chat itself, click the collapse arrow at the top of the sidebar to shrink it down to icons only. On mobile, the sidebar opens as a slide-out drawer instead, using the menu button in the top-left corner.
Long conversations
Every conversation has a maximum length. If you see a banner saying your conversation is approaching or has reached its limit, see Usage Limits for what that means and how to continue.
